Dear God,
We might be waking up to circumstances that we are not thankful for. But we are aligning our hearts to learn contentment and thankfulness for every season we are walking in because You have never left us. Thank you for sustaining us through every trial and circumstance that is shaping us for Your kingdom purpose.
When a new temple was being built in Ezra 3: 6-13, many mourned the temple that had been destroyed in the past. However, there were others that celebrated and shouted for joy as they looked forward. Their focus determined their reaction. Help us to focus forward and not behind today. Heighten our awareness to see the potential in what’s coming and to celebrate things, even if we can only see the foundation.
Today, we make a choice to place you in the center of all things. We give you permission to move in every area, including our relationships, careers, finances, hobbies, and our futures. You are the focus!
