Move from Hurt to Healed
Move from Hurt to Healed
- I don’t know a single person who can say they have not been hurt in this life. We have all been sick. We all have lost a loved one. We have all fallen. We have all had a friend or loved one hurt us. This is where Jesus comes in as Jehovah Rapha, my healer. I can look at the hurt I have in my own life. I see the hurt I have given to You and You have healed. I look at the hurt that I have kept from You and I wonder why I do. When You have proven Yourself to be trustworthy in my life, not that You need to as God, but I still hesitate to give You some hurts. There are still hurts that I don’t even know exist, so now, I ask that You examine me. Show me the hurt. Show me the pain. I know You want to heal me and all You are waiting for is for my invitation.
- There are so many times when we have to take a step for our healing. Father, give me the strength to have faith in what I don’t see with my natural eyes. Give me the courage to go to the doctors because You do use modern medicine to heal. Give me the wisdom in the friends I have around me that I go to with the emotional trauma I have. I ask You would give them the wisdom in how to pray for me and with me. Give me the courage to go to my pastor and ask for prayer. Help me to have the understanding that I do not have to go it alone. Help me to see how You will turn, what the enemy plans for evil for my good. Show me how I can use my testimony to give You glory and praise.
- I want to live in full healing. Show me Scripture verses that will speak to my situation and give me peace. Teach me how to use Your Word as a weapon. Teach me how to use Your Word to speak life over myself. To find my purpose. To find my healing. I thank You that because I am under the Blood of Jesus, I don’t have to be sick. I don’t have to have emotional trauma or mental anguish. All I need to do is call on the name of Jesus and He is here with me. Jesus, I need You. I need to feel Your love. I need to know You are here in the midst of my pain. I need to know You care. Your Word tells me that, “(Your) God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. (Romans 5:5)” You are always with me and I know You will never leave me nor forsake me.
- Father, there are days when Your love hits me like a ton of bricks. You literally sent your Son to take on the sins of the world and become sin, which you hate the most in the world, and die to descend into hell and take on the devil one on one just because You love me. You knitted me together in my mother’s womb knowing everything I would ever do or say. You knew everything I would do to hurt You, but yet You didn’t care and created me anyways because that is how much You love me. You know every hair on my head. You know every moment of my life. You rejoice with me when I rejoice. You cry with me when I cry. You snicker when I do something funny. I look at my life with You and I can’t imagine my life without You in it. You are precious to me. I am sorry for the moments You want to spend time with me and I think something else is more important so I ignore the call to come into Your presence. I am sorry for the times You want me to talk to people about You and I don’t because my time is more important. I am sorry for failing to love You as much as You love me. I don’t deserve You, yet, Christ died for me. I thank You for that. Thank You for loving me.
